Walks in the Woods, 3rd and 10th July

July 12, 2019

We were very lucky with the weather for both our trips to Nightingale Valley and had a brilliant time exploring the forest. It was great to see the children having fun, undertaking new challenges and developing their resilience. Almost all of the children had a go at sliding down the steepest mud slide and once they were at the bottom they had the challenge of climbing back up to the top which was not an easy feat. There were other challenges too such as climbing on the felled beech tree trunk, swinging on the rope swing and climbing trees as well as the challenge of walking there and back!
