Our trip to the Downs was rained off and we were lucky enough to go to the zoo! The Avon George and Downs wildlife trust managed to salvage the day and what fun we had. 

The children learnt all about butterflies, going into the butterfly house to see them up close. In the afternoon we went around the zoo, meeting some weird and wonderful creatures along the way.

What a great day!
