Today was our first ‘Tinkering Day’ in Year 1 and we were busy making dens for the three bears. The children were bees, working together to design and build their dens. The children built their dens and thought carefully about what they wanted to include in their houses. The children built chairs, beds, cars and even hanging baskets with flowers in for the bears to enjoy. One group thought carefully about the security of their den and included an alarm and a security code!
