Easter activities, builder’s questions and campfire…

April 1, 2021

We have had a fantastic last week of term in Cherry Class. We have enjoyed Easter activities; making cards, doing Easter crafts and counting eggs to match the numeral. We also went on an Easter egg hunt and found that our eggs had numbers on them! We then found the Numicon piece to match our numbered eggs and practiced our number bonds to ten by finding our pair. We have had lots of builders in to make our amazing new outdoor area – we took this fantastic learning opportunity and thought of questions we could ask them. Some of us wrote these down and we then got a chance to interview Rob the builder and find out about the building process. At the end of the week we had a campfire – toasting marshmallows and making s’mores! We watched how the marshmallows changed when over the fire and then put out the fire using water when we were finished. What a busy week we’ve had, Cherry Class you deserve a relaxing break! Have a fantastic Easter.
