We have had a great week of learning both at home and at school. We made snowflake biscuits and paper snowflakes this week to link with our new Talk for Writing story, Jack Frost. We also made ice, discussed what temperature water freezes at and then thought of ways we could melt the ice, some ideas included using salt or heat. We used our new Numicon packs to complete a Numicon challenge of using tweezers to place rice into the Numicon holes, whilst counting to check we had the right amount. We have been exploring shape again but this time focusing on 3D shapes, where we created a new shape shop and the children at home found 3D shapes around their homes.
