We had a fantastic day at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm – we saw lots of animals that are in our Talk for Writing story Handa’s Surprise. The children also enjoyed taking risks on the play equipment, they were brilliant at challenging themselves and having a go! The day after we wrote a list of the animals we saw, the children did a great job at remembering the new animals that they saw, including the ones with tricky names! We also made playdough models of animals, created maps, made zoo’s out of construction blocks and wrote about favourite animal!
