For our WOW day, we watched a beanstalk exploding from the ground! We followed giant footsteps outside which led us to a gigantic beanstalk! There was a giant that had climbed up to the castle and we noticed his legs and shoes hanging down the beanstalk! We also found some golden eggs and golden coins. The children used the clues to guess our new story…Jack and the Beanstalk! We then read the story with the props and spent the morning acting out the story, planting beans, writing a bean diary (to be continued as it grows each week!) and making beanstalks.
