At the start of this week we went on a trip to the forest where we were introduced to our new Talk for Writing story ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. The Three Billy Goats and the troll acted out the story for us and we then had a go at trip trapping over the bridge. We then had time to explore the forest – the children enjoyed climbing trees and being curious about the natural world. The children have been immersed into The Three Billy Goats Gruff story for the rest of this week by acting out the story, making masks, creating trolls and building bridges.
