Thanks to all our experience drawing this year the children are amazing artists which they used to help create a whole class story map this week. They are becoming much more familiar with the story now using the Makaton signs to help them. They then created their own story maps during their continuous provision  time. During the week the most exciting thing happened to us as well. One of the children found a real life caterpillar in the garden after almost two weeks of looking. The excitement in the garden was palpable as the children all gathered around to study it. We are now carefully looking after it in our classroom and the children are really good at making sure that we change the leaves and spray it with water everyday to make sure that it is happy and safe. We are hoping to watch it grow and change over the next month so watch this space!
