The children followed a trail to the poly tunnel where they discovered our new Talk for Writing book which is Jasper’s Beanstalk. After listening to the story the children planted runner beans in jars and started a bean diary. They have made some great Jasper the cat masks and have put some broad bean plants in height order. For maths this week the children have been finding sticks in the forest and ordering them according to length; from shortest to longest. We have had some great donations from parents of compost, flower seeds, vegetables seeds, courgette and tomato plants. The children have loved planting these out in our garden, we can’t wait fir them to grow!
