This week we have enjoyed learning our new story ‘The day the Papaya spoke’. The children were shocked when a Papaya started to talk to them. We came up with some great actions together and retold the story in lots of different ways. The week ended with an invasion of crazy hair to raise money for comic relief. There were some fantastic efforts but the Maple class winner was Arleigh with her Alien hairstyle. Can you spot her?

Also this week, we have been Athletes, using the Trim Trail to help us with our PE, learning to balance and travel in different directions on apparatus.

Whilst being Scientists, we planted sunflower seeds, learning about the parts of the plant and the 5 things necessary for growing.

Having been Artists studying the work of Seurat and learning the skills of pointillism, we used our newfound skills to create artwork based on fruit.
