Term 3 Week 5

In Maple class we have been celebrating Chinese New Year. We have been thinking about how Chinese families celebrate this festival, learning about the clothes they wear, the gifts they give, creative dragon dances and discovered the special foods they eat. We have drawn, made and built dragons and performed our own class dragon dances. We have baked delicious fortune cookies and wrote inspiring messages to go in them. In Maths we have been practicing writing our numbers and some of us have even tried writing Chinese numbers. Click on the link below to watch a video showing some of our learning.
