We have been very busy learning in Maple class this week. As well as working on our ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ story and learning about the symbols that represent ‘Greater than’ and ‘Less than’, we have focused on being Artists. Before drawing successful portraits, there is lots of learning to be done about where the features of the face sit in relation to each other, how to sketch with a fine line and then how to shade and colour our faces.

We are so lucky to have Miss Lindsay in our class who is an Artist. As the week went on we saw the progression from sketching the outine of the face to adding colour and detail.

We have also been Musicians, working on finding the pulse in a piece of music and Athletes, putting together a sequence of movement.
