We have been SUPER busy in Fir Class this week…

We have had an amazing week starting our new Talk For Writing text – The Three Little Pigs. The children have really enjoyed reading the story, acting out, asking the wolf lots of questions, creating masks and puppets, creating a class and individual story maps and lots more. The children have also been learning to add Makaton signs when retelling the story. Next week we will be innovating the Three Little Pigs. I wonder what new characters we will come up with as a class? Maybe… The Three Little Rabbits and the Fox. ????

As well as working hard in our reading and writing, we have also been mathematicians, musicians, athletes, designers, geographers, scientists and philosophers. We have been finding the pulse in Music, talking about Harvest and why the Harvest is important to Christians in RE, recognising and describing materials in Science, understanding the differences between physical and human geographical features in Geography, talking about our hopes and fears in PSHE and creating the houses out of the Three Little Pigs in our DT area plus much much more!!
