Christmas in Fir Class!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…

We have had the best time in Fir Class doing lots of fun festive activities leading up to Christmas!!

Baking Christmas shortbread

We were Bakers in Fir Class on Monday. We made sure we all followed the instructions on the recipe, measured out the ingredients (which we had to double to make sure we had enough for everyone ?), mixed the ingredients, cut out our Christmas shortbread shapes and the most fun part of all… we ate the shortbread!!

Party time in Fir Class

We had SO much fun at our class party on Tuesday! We played lots of games such as musical statues, limbo, pass the parcel and many more. We also had some yummy party food, danced the afternoon away and did the conga around the school!!

Crumpets and hot chocolate

On Tuesday morning, we began our day with hot chocolate and crumpets which was left behind from the Christmasarus as a treat! The Christmasarus has sadly left us to go back to the North Pole.?❄️

Presents from Santa and the Elves

We had a lovely Christmassy visit from Mr and Mrs Claus in Fir Class on Wednesday morning! The children were all so so excited to see him and ask him some questions. Thank you very much to the PTA, Mr and Mrs Santa Claus and Elves.. for our lovely new gifts. We can’t wait to use them in the new year!! ?

Milkshake time

We had a little treat from our class elf, Elvis… Oreo and cookie milkshakes!! Elvis left us notes alongside all the ingredients, cups and a blender to be able to our yummy milkshake. We couldn’t believe that Elvis had heard us talking about making milkshakes in the week!! We all enjoyed them very much! Thank you, Elvis… ?

Quiz time in Fir Class

We had a fun quiz in Fir Class. Our class quiz was all about our learning in Term 2 and everything and anything Christmassy! Well done to Team Christmas Snowman for winning our quiz with 28 points! ??
