This week we have continued our Space themed learning by finding out more information about Neil Armstrong.

The children found out some key facts from his life and put them into chronological order to make a timeline of events from his birth in 1930 to his death in 2012. They worked in groups to create posters showing the events and we have displayed them in our classroom to remind us. The children have also been enjoying learning a song all about Neil and his life- you can watch the video via the YouTube link below.

We were also lucky to have a special visitor! This term in music we will be listening to lots of songs of the rock genre so we had a visit from Dave and his electric guitar. He played us some songs and then some of the children wanted to have a go on his guitar themselves which they really enjoyed!
