Broomhill Infant School

Term 6

July 19, 2023

We have had the most amazing final term in Reception! The children loved our Ocean topic and learning all about how to save our oceans. They had an amazing trip to the Aquarium and created posters for World Ocean Day. Towards the end of Term 6 we introduced our new story focus Rosie’s Walk. The children loved having their face paints as farm animals and engaging in farm role play. We have been Artists this term, looking at the work of Natasha Clutterbuck. The children made their own natural paints and used these in their work. We also created mud faces and focused on our school value of nature. The children took on the climbing wall and demonstrated perserverance and determination! We ended the term with a walk to the woods where the children were fantastic explorers. The children had a fun day in the last week where we had inflatables, ice cream and a party! What an amazing year Cherry Class. We hope you have the best summer ever!
