Distance Learning

While the school is closed, teachers will be undertaking virtual teaching and learning through ClassDojo. We recognise that for many of you this will be a difficult and worrying time but we want to reassure you that we are here to support you all the way. You will be able to upload photos and videos of your child’s learning to their portfolio, teachers will be there to give supportive and positive feedback. We have listened and reacted to your feedback about how best to support home learning. Teachers will also provide a simplified weekly plan so that you are able to best prepare for the activities coming up. We look forward to receiving your child’s learning and will celebrate this as part of our Friday Celebration Assembly. Class photos will also be shared on the school website each Friday. I am sure that this will all be part of the rich Broomhill history one day in the future.

Key Workers

School is closed to all, other than those children of key workers who have exhausted all other childcare options and absolutely need them to attend. We all need to play our part in stopping the coronavirus from spreading and to reduce the risk to adults and children who must be in school. Please see the diagram below to help you to decide whether your child needs to be in school.

It is also essential that everyone in our school community follows the social isolation rules.

We also have some very useful videos that you can share with your children which shows how to wash their hand properly
