Wednesday 24 June 2026 Year 2s Barton Camp The children had a brilliant day at camp. They were so enthusiastic, happy and their behaviour was fantastic as always!They had a picnic, explored the rooms, played in a park, had a water fight, went on the slip and slide, did a talent show while tea was cooking, had tea, went for a walk in the woods to find clues that the Barton Bear exists and finished their day with a play in the other park!!

Friday 8 May 2026 Sir David Attenboroughs 100th birthday Over the week, children became mini Sir David Attenboroughs to celebrate his 100th birthday! Using iPads, they took control of the cameras to document their own learning and explore the natural environment around them.Through their filming, the children showed great curiosity, creativity and care for nature, just like real wildlife film makers! 🌍🍂

Thursday 2 April 2026 Easter Activities In the lead-up to the Easter break, our school was buzzing with activity and enthusiasm. Pupils took part in a range of engaging events, from creative arts and crafts to themed learning activities that celebrated the season. Classrooms were filled with colour as students explored springtime topics, while special assemblies and collaborative projects brought the whole school community together. These experiences not only enriched learning but also created a joyful and memorable end to the term. We wish all our families a happy and restful Easter break!

Friday 27 February 2026 The Big Draw Festival We loved celebrating The Big Draw Festival 2026 with our children and families.
