Term 4 – Time Travellers
March 27, 2024
What a whirlind of adventures it has been this term. From travelling back to the 1800’s to the launch of the SS Great Britain, then to Lyme Regis to find out about the life of Mary Anning. Then back millions of years to learn all about dinosaurs (with two amazing trips in between)! Not to mention a fantastical World Book Day full of potato fun, an egg-tastic Tinkering Tuesday and even a class assembly! To say it has been a busy term has been an understatement! The children have had a fantastic time as usual and loved following their interests to answer lots of questions about the past. It always amazes us how much capacity they have to learn really difficult facts and often teach us lots of new dinosaur information! We even managed to include lots of wonderful art activites this term such as making our own fossils and exploring watercolour when learning about Van Gogh. The results were stunning! I can’t wait to see what they get up to next term!
