Welcome to Broomhill Infant and Nursery School

At Broomhill we believe everyone belongs and can achieve their best in our safe, nurturing and respectful school.  Our dedicated team provide an exciting environment where children can become curious, explore and learn through a meaningful and practical curriculum.

We have two classes in each year group starting at nursery through to year 2.  Our specialist resource base is currently based at Broomhill Children’s Centre meeting the diverse needs of 16 children with an Educational Health Care Plan.  97% of families that join Broomhill Infant School remain with us and automatically transfer to the junior school.  Both schools pride themselves on working in partnership providing an inclusive and challenging curriculum where children exceed.

There are three values that run through our creative curriculum. Nature - the school has extensive grounds including a forest school area where we bring our curriculum to life.  Children learn the importance of looking after the world they live in. Nurture – the wellbeing and happiness of every child and their family is at the heart of all we do.  We are a Nurture School UK provision, ensuring a nurturing culture runs throughout our whole school. Knowledge – children develop a love of learning and acquiring new knowledge and skills to go on to succeed at Junior School and within their wider community. We strongly believe that happiness and education is the key to a fulfilled and successful life.  Our aim is to drive high expectations, enable children to reach their dreams and foster a love of learning.
