This week the children have been busy creating art inspired by autumn. They have created nature pictures and collages in frames using natural materials found in the forest area, created some fantastic owl collages by tearing up pieces of paper, used pastels to draw still life pumpkin and squash pictures and used hole punches to make holes in leaves which they threaded onto string to make leaf garlands. The children have also had a visit from a support worker and a nurse/midwife as part of our ‘people who help us in the community’ topic and are very excited for Monday when we have a police officer visiting!
