This week the children in Apple Class have been learning how Chinese New Year is prepared for and how it is celebrated. They have leant how to say hello, goodbye and apple in Chinese and made a stir fry with noodles which they all tried and most said it was delicious and wanted second helpings! The children have been making lanterns, writing Chinese numerals in sand, writing their names in Chinese characters and have tried to pick up different objects using chopsticks!
