As usual in Holly Class the term has been filled with lots of exploration and some amazing learning. We always seem to pack so much in to each term that looking back at the photos it is difficult to choose just a few to share. The main focus this term has been birds and the local environment. We have been lucky to get out in to the local community lots visiting the woods to bird watch, the local church and the park. Its wonderful to be outside and taking every opportunity of providing real life and practical opportunities to learn new skills. After becoming bird experts (which they did with their usual gusto) we started to share a new story to them. The Robot and the Bluebird. Right from the beginning it captured the hearts and imagination of the children who wished so hard that the Robot could live in the end and took so much solace in the fact that he and the Bluebird had become true friends. all these wonderful experiences have inspired amazing writing and deep, engage continuos provison. The children really seem to have grown up before our eyes this term!
