We have had a brilliant first week together in Maple. We had a welcome breakfast on the first day and have had lots of time to explore the learning environment throughout the week.
The children have enjoyed dressing up and performing in our outdoor stage, building with lego, creating models with playdough, practising their phonics and exploring maths resources.
They also had the opportunity to work together in groups to create hot air balloons for the classroom. They drew some things that are important to them and stuck their images onto their balloons. They then added decorations and made baskets. We will share the finished balloons soon!

The children have all settled so well and we are really proud of them.
