Bertha the Butterfly’s Surprise!

July 17, 2021

Bertha the Butterfly surprised us with a trip to Victory Park and a game of rounders. We all had so much fun swinging, balancing, spinning and climbing. Some of us even scored our first rounder! The next day, Bertha surprised us again with some new paintbrushes, so we decided to surprise her by painting beautiful butterflies. We tried to make them symmetrical like Bertha, but it was very tricky and we noticed lots of reasons why our butterflies were asymmetrical. Finally we joined in a carnival mask making workshop with artists who would normally be working with St Paul’s Carnival. We had lots of fun and were all very creative! Watch our video to see some of the fun we had.
