Christmas!

December 19, 2022

We have had a very busy few weeks in Sycamore Class, making cards and calendars, decorating the classroom for Christmas and working hard on our end of term assessments!

To start the last week of term we did some baking, making cinnamon shortbread together. We were mathematicians, reading the measurements and using scales to make sure we had the correct amount of grams for our recipe.
We made stockings out of felt. We drew round a template then cut out our stockings. Then we used a needle and thread to sew around the outside and attach a loop to hang up our stockings. We then cut out shapes and added sequins to decorate our designs.

As well as a trip to the Pantomime to see Cinderella (which we all thought was amazing!) we had a Santa themed pancake breakfast, Christmas dinner, a visit from Santa and our class party where we did lots of dancing and had a fun end to our busy term.

Have a look at the video below to see some pictures of our week.

We would like to wish you all a wonderful break and a great start to your new year.

See you in 2023!
