This week the children in Sycamore Class loved being reunited with their friends and we were all so excited to welcome a new member of the class, Tallulah, who has settled in so well.

We began the week by becoming Scientists where we looked at parts of a daffodil, drew what we found and labelled the different parts of a plant and flower.

We then looked for some signs of Spring in our outdoor area, thought about where we would like to plant some bulbs and visited our Polytunnel at the Juniors to see what might be able to grow there.

We enjoyed celebrating World Book Day all together as a class. We dressed up as our favourite characters, read lots of our favourite books and made posters describing who we were dressed up as.

What a great first week back we have had! Well done Sycamore for settling back in to school so well! We missed you!
