We are learning about repeating patterns in mathematics this week. The children have took part in a range of different activities such as making pattern fruit kebabs, arranging loose parts in patterns, making patterns on squared paper with colouring pencils and making a sound and action pattern. We have been busy making AB, ABC, AAB, ABB and AABB patterns ! We have used our problem solving and reasoning skills to find out which type of pattern fits directly into two types of frames and explaining our choices. Well done Cherry Class !
