Broomhill Infant School

Guidance and Tips

Our school motto of ‘Nature, Nurture, Knowledge’ should guide you when working with your children at home. Ensure that everybody is cared for and protected and able to grow. Try and get out and explore the wonderful nature in our community, Eastwood Farm, Nightingale woods and parks. Use the Termly planners that are sent home to make connections between family activities and learning at school. In an infant school, talking and reading are the most powerful things you can do with your children at home.

If your child has Covid, you might find that they are well enough to work. The teachers will provide you with activities and ideas. The Oxford owl documents below give a comprehensive overview of each year at school and you can find information specific to our school on the Curriculum pages.

We are always here for you. Class teachers can be contacted through Dojo and someone will be on the end of the phone from Monday to Friday.
