A busy yet exciting first week back…

April 23, 2021

This week we have learnt about the Artist Natasha Clutterbuck and had a go at following some of her work. We used charcoal to draw fruit and vegetables and then created our own paints using natural pigments such as beetroot and mud. We crushed the fruit using rolling pins and added water to create the paint, and then used it to add colour to our Art work. We were very lucky to have a climbing wall this week, the children were very brave and were great tortoise learners as they did not give up! Some of the children even managed to get to the top! We also tried out our new scooter path – the children enjoyed taking risks on the ramps and following the arrows around the path. Well done Cherry Class, we have had a fantastic first week back!
