Week 1

What a fantastic start to our Forest Schools after school club! ?????

We started our session off with a discussion on how to be safe and what risks to look out for, and talked about what woodland creature or living thing we would be if we could choose.

We then went on a scavenger hunt, searching for natural resources with certain textures in our woods.

This was followed by creating our own woodland art using natural resources. The children were very creative and our final pieces included a portrait, a pattern, a portrait with a firework, a picture of nature and a hill with fireworks above!

The children were all very enthusiastic and we had a wonderful time – well done Forest Schools Club! Miss Stacey and I are excited for next week! ?
