We had the absolute best time celebrating World Book Day this year! Children wore pyjamas or dressed as a favourite character. All day we celebrated our favourite books- The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Dear Zoo, and Elmer, to name a few! We joined the rest of the school in the hall for a performance by our teaching staff of “A Squash and a Squeeze”. We danced the story-song “The Three Little Pigs” by Eric Litwin. In the afternoon, we welcomed parents in to create favourite characters using potatoes. World Book Day tokens are being sent out and entitle you to buy a book from a selection for only £1 from a number of local retailers!
