For our wow day, after reading our new ‘Talk for Writing’ book Here Comes Jack Frost, we had fun with the snow machine outside. We also explored ice; thinking about how it felt and then became scientists thinking about the different ways that we could melt it and also how we could stop it from melting. We enjoyed acting out the story using props, creating wax resist pictures, baking snowflake biscuits, threading beads to create icicles to hang on our winter tree and making paper snowflakes.
