It has been a busy few weeks in Maple Class preparing for Christmas celebrations.
The children were fantastic in their Nativity performance- I’ve never seen such confident shepherds and sheep!!
They have been using their collage skills to create christmas cards, their knowledge of seasonal changes to make calendars and even had a go at improving their sewing skills by making a bauble decoration.
They had to be mathematicians too, designing and then creating their own repeating patterns for these.
The final results are amazing!

As well as that we have been busy baking shortbread, writing instructions and sequencing events.

We ended the term with a really fun Christmas party where we danced, played games and ate lots of yummy food. We even had a visit from Santa!
