This week in Maple class the children have been learning about the different animal groups. They learnt about animals that would live in the Amazon in Brazil and animals from Eastwood farm and which animal group they fit in to. Are they mammals, amphibians, fish, reptiles, birds or insects? The children also enjoyed using oil pastels to create Brazilian animals in their independent learning.

In Maths, we have been counting in 2s , 5s and 10s and making the numbers using resources. Some amazing Maple Mathematicians!

The children also created story maps for ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ and enjoyed practising their letter formation on the new blackboards in our outdoor area!
