This term we have been learning the story ‘Somebody Swallowed Stanley’ and the children have been working very hard to write their own versions of the story.
First we read the story together and act it out. Then we create a story map so that we can learn it really well. Once we know it we then work on changing some parts. We chose to change the sea creatures who swallow Stanley. Finally we innovate the story by writing our own based on the original.
