Harvest Festival

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 all visited the church for our harvest service. All year groups sang beautifully and were so polite and respectful listening and learning about harvest. Thank you so much for your generous donations, these will be shared within the community.

Holly Class had a wonderful and exciting visit to Woodcroft Community Orchard. The children walked safely down to the orchard, following all safety guidelines and holding hands with a friend along to the way.

Once we arrived, we gathered to listen carefully to Alice, who helps look after the orchard. She explained which trees we were allowed to pick from. After exploring and picking apples, we sat down together at base camp and enjoyed tasting a variety of delicious apples. We used describing words to talk about the apples. Some were crisp and juicy others were sweet or slightly tangy.

A huge thank you to Woodcroft Community Orchard for welcoming our Year 1 children. It was a lovely memorable experience!
