We have had a brilliant first term in Sycamore Class.
In Maths we have made excellent progress with our number and place value and we are confidently reading and writing 2 digit numbers. Our number bonds are improving and we can now add ten to numbers.
We have loved The Gingerbread Man story and enjoyed writing our own stories and designing and describing ginger bread man traps.
We have learnt about materials and the importance of recycling. We have visited the woods, baked bread and gingerbread men, improved our rhythm and worked on our core balance. As artists, we have explored famous self portraits and created our own and in Tinkering we have made dens.
